On-Site CPR & BLS Training for Dental Practices in South Florida
Dental offices face a unique risk profile: patients are sedated, airways are instrumented, and emergencies can escalate quickly. MIACPR brings AHA-certified CPR and BLS training directly to your dental practice so your clinical staff can respond with confidence when seconds matter.
Why dental practices need on-site BLS training
Dental professionals work in close proximity to patient airways every day. Local anesthesia, conscious sedation, and patient anxiety can all trigger cardiovascular emergencies. When a patient collapses in the chair, the dental team must recognize the emergency, begin high-quality chest compressions, and operate an AED within minutes — often before EMS arrives.
BLS certification is not just a credential for dental staff; it is a clinical necessity. The American Heart Association BLS Provider course teaches the exact skills a dental team needs: rapid recognition of cardiac arrest, effective single-rescuer and two-rescuer CPR, AED operation, and relief of choking. For practices that use sedation, ACLS may also be appropriate for deeper sedation protocols.
How on-site scheduling works for busy dental offices
We understand that dental practices cannot shut down for an entire day. That is why we offer flexible scheduling that fits around your patient calendar. We can train your team before the office opens, during a lunch block, after the last patient, or on a day the office is normally closed. We bring every instructor, mannequin, AED trainer, and barrier device — your office only provides the space.
For multi-doctor practices, we can split your team into smaller groups so patient coverage is maintained. Each session runs approximately four hours for BLS and three hours for Heartsaver CPR and AED. Every participant receives an official AHA eCard the same day training is completed.
Group sizes and what to expect
We certify groups ranging from 6 to 60+ staff members in a single visit. For larger practices with multiple locations or rotating hygienists, we schedule return visits or split sessions across the day. Group rates scale with your team size, so the more staff you certify at once, the better the per-person pricing.
Every course includes hands-on practice with the same equipment your team would use in a real emergency: adult and infant mannequins, AED trainers, and barrier devices. Scenarios are tailored to the dental environment, including in-chair collapse and post-sedation emergencies.
