On-Site CPR & BLS Training for Schools in South Florida
Schools are responsible for the safety of hundreds of students every day. From the classroom to the athletic field, staff need to be ready for cardiac emergencies, injuries, and allergic reactions. MIACPR brings AHA-certified CPR, AED, and First Aid training directly to your campus.
Why school staff need CPR and First Aid training
Sudden cardiac arrest can strike students, athletes, and staff without warning. When it does, the people closest to the emergency are teachers, coaches, and administrators — not medical professionals. The first three to five minutes are critical, and an AED on campus is only useful if staff know how to use it.
The AHA Heartsaver K-12 course is designed specifically for school environments. It covers adult, child, and infant CPR, AED operation, choking relief, and First Aid basics like bleeding control, burns, and allergic reactions. For schools with athletic programs, the First Aid component gives coaches and trainers the skills to handle common field injuries until professional help arrives.
Scheduling training around the school calendar
We schedule training on teacher planning days, before the school day starts, after dismissal, or during summer break. We can train your entire staff in a single session or split by department so student supervision is maintained. We bring all equipment to your campus — mannequins, AED trainers, and First Aid practice kits.
For districts with multiple schools, we coordinate visits across campuses and offer group rates that scale across the entire booking. Every staff member receives an official AHA eCard the same day.
Group sizes and campus logistics
We certify groups from 6 to 60+ staff per session. For large schools or districts, we schedule multiple sessions across one or more days. Sessions are held in your gymnasium, media center, cafeteria, or any large room — we only need floor space for mannequin practice.
Scenarios are tailored to the school environment: a student collapsing in class, an athletic emergency on the field, or a playground injury. Your staff practices the exact situations they would face on campus.
